The Plaza America Convention Center is the new face of Varadero’s modern environs. The Paradiso Cultural Promotion Agency offers Friday evening concerts where classical string quartets to symphony orchestras (such as the Matanzas Symphonic Orchestra, one of Cuba's most prestigious) perform select pieces of the international repertoire. Concerts can be included in excursion packages to Matanzas or in excursions to the Sauto, Amadeo Roldán or Gran Teatro theatres in Matanzas and Havana.
