Matanza’s own Miguel Faílde created the national dance of Cuba or Danzón, that later gave rise to other famous rhythms like the Mambo and the Cha Cha Cha. There are many Danzón clubs throughout the country, where locals flock to dance to its rhythm. However, the best dance couples gather at this club in Matanza. Visitors come to admire the dexterity of the dancers, who manage to do it all in a very small space.
